Advanced Open Water

Advanced Open Water builds upon skills acquired in your basic Open Water Diver course. This course can be taken immediately after completing Open Water and will advance your diving knowledge & skills while working under the supervision of one of our trained professionals.

The academics are done via PADI’s eLearning, included in the cost of the course. The link will be sent to you via email shortly after you register. Since the email comes directly from PADI, please check your junk inbox if you do not receive it. Within the eLearning are the digital liability and medical releases, please make sure to fill out the digital forms PRIOR to the date of your course. If you answer YES to any of the questions on the medical form, you will need a doctor's signature to participate in the class.

Availability: In Stock

In this course, divers will focus on underwater navigation, peak performance buoyancy, complete one of our all time favorite dives- a night dive, and planning & executing deeper dives. Each of these dives can be used toward later specialty certifications for your Master Scuba Diver rating.

 

This course is 5 dives done over 2 days.

 

Prerequisites:

- Must be at least 12 years old.

- Open Water certification.

 

Required Materials (not included in course cost):

- Dive Light

- Dive site entry fees (not included in course fee)

 

Cancellation: If you need to rebook your certification weekend for another weekend, please email us.  Cancellations via email 10+ days out will be rebooked at no charge (cancellations less than 10 days will incur a $35 rebooking fee). Columbus Scuba reserves the right to pay the instructor.
