Ice Diving
Take the icy plunge!
Teamwork is essential for ice diving, so we will start by learning the roles and responsibilities of support personnel, tenders, and safety divers. We will also discuss types of ice, site selection, and preparation, the effects of cold, emergency procedures, and handling equipment issues.
These dates are potential dates. If there is ice over the quarry on these dates, they will be the real dates. If there is no ice, we will reach out to all registered participants when there IS ice and plan for that date. If participant is unable to make new dates, money can be refunded or held as a credit for another course.

Three ice dives are required to complete this certification. The actual dives will be announced when we have ice. Watch FaceBook to see when we will be diving.
Prerequisites:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Advanced Open Water certification.
Required Materials (not included in course cost):
- Drysuit (can be rented)
- Dive site entry fees are not included
