Why Sidemount?

• Enables a unique method of buoyancy control which results in a more streamlined profile, reduces drag and moving much easier and more efficient.
• Offers a greater comfort level. Sidemount equipment and harness are custom fit to each individual.
• Carry the tanks separately from your harness to the water. (Eliminates many back issues)
• Completely redundant system (2 tanks, 2 regulators, 2 gauges, all completely separate from each other).
• Carry more gas with you to enjoy longer dives

The academics are done via eLearning (which is included in the cost of the course) and will be sent to you via email shortly after you register (the email comes directly from PADI and may filter into your junk inbox). Within the eLearning are digital forms (liability release, medical release, etc.). Make sure to fill out the digital forms PRIOR to the date of your course. If you answer YES to any of the questions on the medical form, you will need a doctor's signature to participate in the class.

Prerequisites:

- Must be at least 15 years old.

- Open Water certification

- Sidemount Regulators (can be rented)

- Sidemount cylinders with rigging (can be rented)
